Correction:
The DoMS placements are handled by a separate placement cell unlike placements for the rest of the institute which are handled by the Placement Office. The data printed in the Placement Review article published in the Feb 2011 issue of The Fifth Estate carried data as given to us by the student placement team that works with the Placement Office and therefore the data for DoMS placements was incomplete. We apologise for this error.
The DoMS placement cell has provided the following figures and information (as of April, 2011) -
Number of offers made: 66
Number of offers accepted: 64
Average Salary offered: INR 9.23 LPA
Highest Salary offered: INR 14.0 LPA
